Delete your account

You can delete your SaveWise account, and everything stored with it, at any time. There are two ways to do it.

In the app

  1. Open SaveWise and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. The account and its data are removed immediately.

By email

If you can no longer open the app, write to us from the address the account is registered with and ask for it to be deleted. We action these within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.

What is deleted

Everything tied to the account: your expenses and income, categories, goals, budgets, recurring entries, saved receipt scans and the text read from them, assistant conversations, streaks and notifications. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone — there is no recovery window, so export your data first if you want to keep it.

What we may keep

Nothing beyond what the law obliges us to retain, and never for any other purpose. Backups are overwritten on their normal cycle within 30 days.

Want a copy first?

Settings has an export that hands you a full copy of your own data, which you can save or send to yourself. Do that before deleting, not after.
