1. Acceptance of these Terms
SaveWise is a personal-finance app operated by D. Dimitrova as an individual developer (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use SaveWise.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use SaveWise. By using the app you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3. Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate information, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. The service
SaveWise helps you track expenses and income, set budgets and savings goals, scan receipts, and ask an AI assistant about your finances. It is intended for your personal, non-commercial use.
5. Not financial advice
The AI assistant, insights and any figures shown in the app are generated automatically for information only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and are NOT professional financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions; consider consulting a qualified professional before acting.
6. Plans & pricing
SaveWise offers a free tier, a recurring Monthly subscription (€6.99 per month), and a limited Founding (one-time) purchase (€4.99). Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time; the price shown at the moment of purchase applies to that purchase.
7. Free trial
Each account may activate one 7-day free trial, once. You start it yourself in the app; it never starts automatically. During the trial you get full access to the paid features, including up to 15 AI questions and 5 receipt scans for the whole trial period. No payment method is required and nothing is charged. The trial does not convert into a paid plan and does not renew: when the 7 days end, your account simply returns to the free tier. Everything you entered during the trial stays in your account, and the free tier's own one-time allowance is not used up by what you did during the trial. We may change or withdraw the trial offer for new users; this does not affect a trial that has already started.
8. Subscriptions & auto-renewal
The Monthly plan is an auto-renewing subscription. It is billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel it in your store account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
9. Founding (one-time) purchase
The Founding plan is a single one-time payment of €4.99 with no recurring charge and no auto-renewal. Its paid features stay unlocked for the lifetime of your account. It is offered to a limited number of early supporters; once all Founding places are taken it is retired for new purchases, while existing Founding members keep all rights they acquired.
10. Founding allowance over time
For the first 12 months from your individual purchase date, the Founding plan includes up to 5 receipt scans per day and 30 AI questions per month. After those 12 months, the metered fair-use allowance moves to 3 receipt scans per day and 15 AI questions per month at no extra cost; your paid features stay unlocked. You can switch to the Monthly plan at any time for higher limits.
11. Payments & refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us — we never receive your full payment-card details. Refunds are governed by the policies of the App Store or Google Play; please request any refund through the relevant store. This does not affect your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app: no unlawful use, no attempts to reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no use of the app to harm others or infringe their rights.
13. Intellectual property
The SaveWise app, its design and content are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. The financial data you enter remains yours.
14. Availability & changes
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend the service for maintenance or other reasons.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any financial losses or decisions made based on the app, or for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
16. Termination
You may stop using SaveWise and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms.
17. Governing law & changes to these Terms
These Terms are governed by applicable European Union law and the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. We may update these Terms; we will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Changes do not reduce rights already acquired by existing Founding members.
